 1 – Twist locking mechanism at bottom of selector knob by 45 degrees in direction of arrow and pull selector knob up and off.

Prevent Porsche Panamera headlights from being stolen

I have read that there are thiefs that target panamera headlights. It takes them no more than 1 min to remove both headlights. They say its to support their drug habit. Other thiefs in Europe use it for ransom. They remove your headlights, hide it and leave a ransom note on the window

Anyway, I checked the mounting and it looks like I found a solution. Find the tab w/rod that holds the headlight in place (releasing mechanism). Drill a small hole through the tab and the mount and install a screw that prevents both of them from moving. Thats it. Whenver you need to remove the headlamp – just remove the screw.
